Paediatric Speech Pathology

Paediatric Speech Pathology focuses on assessing and treating children with speech, language, communication, and feeding difficulties.

Speech Pathologists help children develop essential skills for effective communication, including speech clarity, language comprehension, social communication, and literacy.

I am a Senior Paediatric Speech-Language Pathologist with extensive experience in speech and language disorders associated with various neurodevelopmental disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, among others

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Pathology from the Philippines and have 12 years of experience both from the Philippines and Australia. My background is focused on paediatrics, and includes masters-level training and experience in education and supervision of student and junior practitioners, as well as of other professionals and family/parents of participants, in the last decade.

Georgia Oliver

Paediatric Speech Pathologist

I have worked as a speech pathologist for 2 years and prior to that I was an Allied Health Assistant in the speech therapy field.

I have a passion for working with young children to help them reach their goals and I enjoy seeing all the progress they make along the way.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending my time watching the F1 (yes, that means I am up at all hours on a Sunday!).

I also enjoy running and I have recently completed a half marathon.

I often say to people when I meet them that my two favourite things in the world are doggos and kiddos. I share 2 doggos with my family, Harley and Coco who stay with me on a Wednesday night.
